Es Bol Nou beach

Reddish cliffs and a historic atmosphere beside the Phoenician archaeological site of Sa Caleta.

Known as Sa Caleta, this beach is famous for its striking reddish clay cliffs and the historic setting of the nearby Phoenician archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A narrow stretch of sand with clear waters and a peaceful local atmosphere, it is ideal for photography and a relaxing swim when open. The beach is currently CLOSED until further notice due to the risk of rockfalls. Always respect safety signs and check the latest official information before planning your visit.

Access

Take the Airport Road and, near the airport, follow the left-hand turn signposted for Cala Jondal. After approximately 4 km, take the turn onto an unpaved road leading to Sa Caleta.
TRANSPORT: By car or bicycle.
DISTANCES: 9.5 km from Ibiza Town and 10 km from Sant Josep de sa Talaia.
