It is an added inducement for visitors to explore and enjoy the natural and cultural heritage of the area free from the rigours of climate extremes.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1635253772526{padding-top: 15px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Climate through the seasons<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The island of Ibiza in general has warm<strong> mean temperatures and low rainfall<\/strong>, although this <strong>tends to be irregular, and rain,<\/strong> when it occurs, is usually concentrated over a few days of the year. However, the island retains its natural humidity thanks to its geology and the wealth of water sources stored in the mountainous areas that cover much of the island. The <strong>annual average temperatures are between 16 \u00baC and 18 \u00baC<\/strong>, and in summer these can rise to 29 \u00baC and 31 \u00baC, while in winter, temperatures are unlikely to drop below 5 \u00baC -9 \u00baC. To give you an idea, the winter temperature in January, which is traditionally the coldest month, usually ranges from a maximum of 15.5 \u00baC to a minimum of 8.1 \u00baC. In <strong>spring,<\/strong> temperatures vary, with a maximum of 17.2 \u00baC and a minimum of 9.3 \u00baC throughout March, and up to 22.2 \u00baC and 14.2 \u00baC respectively in the month of May. In <strong>summer<\/strong>, temperatures rise considerably, and reach an average of 30 \u00baC maximum and 21.8 \u00baC minimum in August, when temperatures usually reach their highest peak. Obviously, in summer the water temperature rises and can be as high as 24.4 \u00baC in August, dropping slightly to 20.6 \u00baC in October for example. The island\u2019s climate is affected by the sea which regulates temperatures and makes them milder. Spring is unquestionably the season of the year when these benign weather conditions are most evident.
