A highly recommended excursion on a nice and clear day.<\/p>\n<h2>Route map<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/mapsengine.google.com\/map\/embed?mid=znaHCaX734e8.k5mP8YDKZX9Y\" width=\"795\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Difficulty<\/strong>: Low-Average<br \/>\n<strong>Distance<\/strong>: 2,40 km.<br \/>\n<b>Average time<\/b>: 1 hour, 15 minutes (Outbound)<br \/>\n<strong>Recommendations<\/strong>: Sport shoes and clother and water.<\/p>\n<h2>Visualize the island from the highest point&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>Although it\u2019s an uphill walk, don\u2019t worry. The route we suggest is easy, with a smooth gradient, we\u2019ll only find a steeper part at the very end. As you go up, it\u2019s recommended to take short breaks. Short after you go up the street it becomes a country path with native vegetation on both sides and a pine forest. The trail is easily accessible and it goes along the foot of the surrounding mountains to Sa Talaia, enlivened by fabulous panoramic views, making the journey even more entertaining. On a lucky day, there is a chance that you run into a \u201cJineta\u201d, the most exotic mammal in Ibiza. They are very shy and elusive animals which are rarely seen.<\/p>\n<p>In the first stretch, these are the views that you can enjoy. A beautiful landscape, traditional Ibicenco rustic houses scattered throughout mountain terraces formed by stone walls, tilled fields and forests. We walk up to the top, where we&#8217;ll find two amazing viewpoints from where you can see a large part of the island and where you can take the best pictures.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2062\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/satalaia_santantoni_IMG_4751.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2062\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2062 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/satalaia_santantoni_IMG_4751-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"satalaia_santantoni_IMG_4751\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/satalaia_santantoni_IMG_4751-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/satalaia_santantoni_IMG_4751-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/satalaia_santantoni_IMG_4751.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2062\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cala de Bou and Sant Antoni bay<\/p><\/div>\n<p>If you stand next to the antenna and look north you\u2019ll be able to see: The Bay of Sant Antoni, the contour of the town of Sant Antoni, the Cap Non\u00f3 mountain and the tourist area of \u200b\u200bCala de Bou and Port des Torrent. The best time is in the evening when you can see a really nice sunset.<\/p>\n<p>As well, if you look south, you can view the stunning bay of Porroig, Cala Jondal and the coast of the island of Formentera in the background. Simply beautiful!
