As you already know, from this blog we want to a bring you a little closer to our municipality, so we always suggest you to visit different places: beaches and coves, churches, villages, monuments\u2026<\/p>\n

Today we want to show you one of the most authentic villages on the island of Ibiza: Sant Agust\u00ed des Vedr\u00e0<\/a>. This small village is located at about 4 km from Sant Josep. It is one of the best preserved villages in Ibiza. We can highlight its church, simple but beautiful, typical of the architecture of Ibiza. Apart from the church, this rustic village is composed of \u201ccasas payesas\u201d (traditional Ibicenco farm houses) and old rustic houses refurbished and now turned into restaurants and art galleries, such as Can Curt<\/a>. From the village you can see the fields full of almond trees and the mountains surrounding the municipality, as well as all the houses with their characteristic whitewashed walls which are part of this bucolic landscape.<\/p>\n

The village of Sant Agust\u00ed is a must for hikers, since there are many different routes for enjoying this sport in the nice weather. In the village plaza one can sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the site and take some time to take some photographs of this site so well preserved in full nature of Ibiza.<\/p>\n
