\/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>On our last post we talked about the southern part of the Sant Josep area, and today we\u2019ll continue showing you some suggestions and ideas so you can keep enjoying these wonderful nature environments in Sant Josep. We\u2019ll take a walk around <a title=\"Cala d\u2019Hort\" href=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/en\/ver\/cala-dhort\/\">Cala d&#8217;Hort<\/a> and show you its beaches and nature reserves. As well, we\u2019ll see one of the most amazing sunsets in Ibiza. Keep reading and make sure to write down these tips and ideas.<\/p>\n<p>The Nature Reserve of \u201cIllots de Ponent\u201d (Es Vedr\u00e0, Es Vedranell, Sa Conillera, s&#8217;Illa des Bosc, s&#8217;Espartar and Ses Bledes) as well as a large part of the southwest coast of the municipality of Sant Josep. The ecological diversity of the area and the beauty of the different landscape elements that form this area made it become\u200b\u200b, in 2002, a Nature Reserve, given a special protection provided by the administrative bodies of Ibiza and the Balearic Islands. This nature reserve contains one of the best-known defense towers on the island, Torre des Savinar, built in 1576 and located on one of the cliffs facing the islets of Es Vedr\u00e0 and Es Vedranell. The views are spectacular. The most beautiful sights of the whole island.<\/p>\n<p>Es Vedr\u00e0 is the best known islet of Ibiza. It\u2019s almost 400 meters high and attracts thousands of tourists throughout the year. This island is right next to another one of smaller size, Es Vedranell, 128m high. There are two of the most photographed islands in the world, both for its beauty as well as for its riddles and mysteries that surround them. Between the year 1854 and 1860 a Carmelite hermit, father Francesc Palau, lived in the island of Es Vedr\u00e0, who claimed in some of his works that he had experienced heavenly visions and experiences on this island of, and which also appear in some of the stories and legends (rondalles) best known of the Pitiusan Islands. Undoubtedly, it is a magical place that you can\u2019t miss if you spend your holidays in Ibiza.<\/p>\n<p>After enjoying the incredible landscapes and spectacular cliffs of The Nature Reserve of \u201cIllots de Ponent\u201d, you can go for a swim in any of the beaches in the area. First, let\u2019s see Sa Pedrera de Cala d&#8217;Hort, known as Atlantis. To reach this cove you have walk for about half an hour, because it\u2019s not possible to reach it by car. The rocks carved by the quarry activities make this place a spectacular scenery of natural pools and stone carved stairs next to the sea. A landscape that will surely not disappoint you.<\/p>\n<p>But if you prefer walking a little less and still enjoy the amazing views of <a title=\"Zona Sur-Oeste, Cala d\u2019Hort y Es Vedr\u00e0 (Ibiza)\" href=\"\/?p=1896\">Es Vedr\u00e0<\/a> and Es Vedranell, you can go to the beach of Cala d&#8217;Hort: sandy, family atmosphere and very good restaurants where you can enjoy local and seafood cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>From Cala d&#8217;Hort you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in Ibiza. Watching how the sun sets beside the islets of Es Vedra and Es Vedranell from Sa Torre des Savinar, is an unforgettable experience.
