Cala Tarida has several beach bars, called chiringuitos<\/i>, and restaurants offering magnificent views of the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

The restaurants here have something to suit all tastes and budgets. You can choose from the most traditional dishes featuring local produce or go for something a little more exotic.<\/p>\n

EXPLORING<\/h2>\n

\"\"This unique place has many interesting spots to explore. A stroll along its long sandy beach can be an excellent way to get to know Cala Tarida\u2019s unique coastline dotted with its distinctive rock formations. One of the hidden surprises Cala Tarida has to offer, however, is the possibility of exploring the surrounding countryside.<\/p>\n

At the eastern end of the bay there are large cliffs offering incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea and on a clear day you can even see the highest point of the small rocky island of Es Vedr\u00e0<\/strong> alongside its little sister Es Vedranell.<\/p>\n

Nestled under these cliffs is Es Pujolets<\/a>: a hidden cove with traditional fishermen’s huts dotted along the rocks. A little further ahead (towards Cala Tarida) is a tiny but beautiful and peaceful beach. It is quite tricky to get down to it from the cliff, but swimming from the huts is easy.<\/p>\n

Opposite the sandy beach of Cala Tarida lies a small jetty hidden in a bay of calm and transparent waters called Es Calonet<\/strong>. The fisherman’s huts here are the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the main beaches.<\/p>\n

The varied coastline of Cala Tarida is also a perfect place for a long kayak or paddle surf trip to explore every hideout. \nFinally, visitors can take a walk around the surrounding area. Before arriving at the car park located in a small square there is a tarmacked road that descends between pines and housing estates. Following the signs for Cala Corral<\/strong> you arrive at a small rocky cove with dry dock huts and a small marina called Coralmar. There are usually only a few people here and the clear, clean waters invite you to jump straight in.<\/p>\n
