The trail offers fantastic views of the sea all along its route where traditional fishermen&#8217;s cottages, breath-taking cliffs and an Ibizan defence tower all await you.<br \/>\nIt is an easy walk of no more than 6km round trip and each section takes 50 minutes. If travelling by car, it is best to leave it in the car park behind the beach as the route begins at this car park. You will see official route signs and can start at this point or, if you prefer, you can cross over to the left side of the bay to start at the coast.<br \/>\nAs you can see in the attached map, you can walk all the way to Cap de Bassa where you can see part of Sant Antoni bay on the horizon and Cap Non\u00f3 beyond it.<br \/>\nOur short route takes us in the direction of <a href=\"\/?p=1607\">Platges de Comte<\/a>. From here you can walk along the rocky cliffs of Cala Roja, which can be accessed at two points via steps carved into the rock and slipways. If you have time why not stop here for a quick dip and dive in the caves carved out of the eroded rock?<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2008\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4074_1200-x-800-1024x683.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2008\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8991\" src=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4074_1200-x-800-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"P1140055\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2008\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cap Non\u00f3 en el horizonte<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Punta des Farallons is at the end of this headland. From the viewing point here you can see Sa Conillera (belonging to <a href=\"\/?page_id=6268\">Illots de Ponent<\/a>) and you can still make out Cap Non\u00f3 and the coast of Sant Antoni to the right. Looking down below you will see a fisherman&#8217;s hut on the cliff face.<br \/>\nOur route now takes us along the coast to Sa Torre point where we find Torre d\u2019en Rovira tower. Built in 1763 as one of the 7 defence towers on the Ibizan coast this watchtower is set at the perfect angle to communicate with the watchtower at Cala d\u2019Hort (<a href=\"\/?p=1580\">Torre d\u2019Es Savinar<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2008\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4074_1200-x-800-1024x683.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2008\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8991\" src=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4074_1200-x-800-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"P1140079\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2008\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Torre d&#8217;en Rovira<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Our path now takes us along the coastal cliffs until the small fishing port of Ses Cultivetes comes into view. With its curious-looking eroded rocks and charming fishermen&#8217;s houses this little gem offers a welcome break from the crowded Platges de Comte beach in the summer months. A feast for the eyes &#8211; take it all in!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2008\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4074_1200-x-800-1024x683.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2008\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8991\" src=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4074_1200-x-800-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"P1020518\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2008\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Casetas de pescadores en Ses Cultivetes<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Our walk is now coming to an end as we arrive at Platges de Comte! If time permits, as a grand finale why not take a dip in the water at Platges de Comte?
