An easy walk of about one hour both ways, from Platges de Compte beach (Cala Conta) and the watchtower Torre d&#8217;en Rovira. No big uphill stretches, allowing you to fully enjoy this masterpiece of nature. When you get there you\u2019ll immediately understand why this is a unique viewpoint. A mix of blue and turquoise waters, rocky and wild coastal stretch, having part of the Nature Reserve islands, the \u201cIllots de Ponent\u201d, in the background, giving the horizon its own life. An authentic walk in full nature: just country and sea. Stunning, as we mentioned, is the view of the islands of S&#8217;illa des Bosc and Sa Conillera, right in front of us during the whole route. On one side the sea and those characteristic and typical fishermen&#8217;s huts. And on the other side, the very Ibicenco pine and juniper forests with those intense green tones. Al fondo la punta de Cap Non\u00f3<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Going along the coast we\u2019ll reach the point of Sa Torre, where we\u2019ll be able to spot the point of Cap Non\u00f3 and the coast of Sant Antoni in the background. And right there we\u2019ll find the watchtower Torre d&#8217;en Rovira. It dates from 1763, and like other towers scattered along the Pitiusan coast, it was used as a watch and defense tower (it even had artillery, such as  canons), in this case for the Bay of Sant Antoni, which is just a few kilometers away. It\u2019s positioned at an angle that allowed it to easily communicate with the watchtower of Es Savinar (in Cala d&#8217; Hort) and with the church of Sant Antoni de Portmany.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2014\" style=\"width: 1010px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_5103.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2014\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2014\" src=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_5103.jpg\" alt=\"Puesta de sol en Platges de Comte\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_5103.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.santjosep.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_5103-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2014\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Puesta de sol en Platges de Comte<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This little walk is really pleasant at any time of the day, but we can\u2019t help recommending it for an evening walk as the perfect time to do it. The sunset from any part of the route is breathtaking.
