Durch Gesetz 1\/1991 v. 30. Januar 1991 wur- de es von der Balearenregierung zum ANEI- Naturschutzgebiet erkla\u0308rt.<br \/>\nIm Februar 2002 wurden dann mit Dekret 24\/2002 Cala d\u2019Hort, Cap Llentrisca und Sa Talaia zum Naturpark und Es Vedra\u0300, Es Vedra- nell und die Illots de Ponent zu Naturreser- vaten erkla\u0308rt.<\/p>\n<p>Im Februar 2002 wurden dann mit Dekret 24\/2002 Cala d\u2019Hort, Cap Llentrisca und Sa Talaia zum Naturpark und Es Vedra\u0300, Es Vedra- nell und die Illots de Ponent zu Naturreser- vaten erkla\u0308rt.<\/p>\n<p>Durch das LECO-Gesetz 5\/2005 u\u0308ber die Ausweisung von Naturschutzgebieten wurden die Naturreservate Es Vedra\u0300, Es Vedranell und Illots de Ponent und das umliegende Meeresgebiet zu einem zusammengeho\u0308renden Naturschutzgebiet erkla\u0308rt. Felseninseln Illots de Ponent bilden ein Land- und Wassernaturschutzgebiet im Westen von Ibiza, das zur Gemeinde Sant Josep de Sa Talaia geho\u0308rt. Das Natur- schutzgebiet geho\u0308rt als LIC (schu\u0308tzenswerte Zone der EU) und ZEPA (Vogelschutzgebiet) dem europa\u0308ischen Netzwerk Natura 2000 an und wurde auch von der Bale- arenregierung unter besonderen Schutz gestellt (ANEI).<\/p>\n<p>Die Felsinseln teilen sich in zwei Gruppen: Die aus Es Ve- dra\u0300 und Es Vedranell bestehende Inselgruppe und die Illots de Ponent: Sa Conillera, Es Bosc, S\u2019Espartar und Ses Bledes (Na Gorra, Es Vaixell, das Ri Es cap Vermell, Na Bosc, die Ri s En Ramon und Na Plana). Die Naturgebiete bieten Lebensraum fu\u0308r Meeresvo\u0308gel, Eidechsen und en- demische Arten von Wirbellosen und eine Vielzahl von P anzenarten.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>FAUNA<\/h2>\n<p>Sie Felsinseln sind eine der wichtigsten Brutsta\u0308tten fu\u0308r Meeres- und Raubvo\u0308gel wie die Korallenmo\u0308- we (Larus audouinii), der Gelbschnabel-Sturmtaucher (Calonectris diomedea), der Balearen-Sturmtaucher (Pu nus mauretanicus), der Eleonorenfalke (Falco eleonorae), der Wanderfalke (Falco peregrinus) oder die Sturmschwalbe (Hydrobates pelagicus). Auch sind die selten auf den Pityusen vorkommenden Arten wie die Zwergpalme (Chamae- rops humilis) oder die Baumartige Wolfsmilch vertreten. Von besonderer Bedeutung sind die Besta\u0308nde an Es- partogras auf der Insel S\u2019Espartar, bei denen es sich um die gro\u0308\u00dften der Pityusen handelt.<\/p>\n<p>Auch die Unterwasser-Flora ist sehr vielfa\u0308ltig.
