Die kleine Kirche, fast schon eine Kapelle, wurde f\u00fcr die Salzarbeiter erbaut, damit Sie keine langen Wegebis zur n\u00e4chsten Kirche auf sich nehmen mussten.<\/p>\n<p>Eine weitere kleine Kirche, die dem Heiligen Sant Carles geweiht wurde, befindet sich in dem Ort La Revista. Dieser hat ebenfalls zwei Wehrt\u00fcrme, Sal Rossa und Ses Portes. Von Ihnen hatte man einen guten Ausblick auf das Meer, damit die Einwohner von Sant Josep vor Piratenangriffen besch\u00fctzt werden konnten. Andere interessante Orte in der Gemeinde sind der Salzhafen Sa Canal und die arch\u00e4ologische Fundst\u00e4tte Sa Caleta. Hier ist wahrscheinlich die erste ph\u00f6nizische Stadt auf den Pityusen errichtet worden (Gr\u00fcndung im 7. Jahrhundert v. Chr.).
